Achieving Diversity and Inclusion for Nonprofits

2-28-2017 at 8:30 am - 10:30 am

This special program takes an honest look at the sociocultural dynamics that impact diversity and identify strategic opportunities that will affect personal, interpersonal, and institutional growth within nonprofit organizations.  We will explore the costs of prejudice and discrimination, and define ways to foster an understanding and appreciation of our differences in order to create a welcoming and diverse environment that best reflects our core values.

Please join our guest speaker, Chaz Kellem, as he discusses the value and impact of diversity on nonprofits.  Learn how to improve cross-cultural communication skills, foster an appreciation of our differences, and create a more welcoming and diverse environment within our staff, board and volunteers.  Participants will gain a better understanding of how our commitment to diversity and inclusion directly impacts the clients and communities we serve.

There is no fee to attend this program, but registration is required by calling the Nonprofit Resource Center at 412.622.6277.
