Bus Rapid Transit Public Meeting – East Liberty

Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, Port Authority of Allegheny County, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh have proposed a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system that connects Downtown Pittsburgh with Uptown, Oakland, and several other communities.
Individuals are invited to attend these public meetings to learn more about the project and share their input.
Who should attend: Riders of the 71A, 71B and 71C and P3 bus routes; Residents of East Liberty, Friendship, Highland Park, Homewood, Point Breeze, Point Breeze North and Shadyside; Riders of 61 and 71 series routes who cannot attend a meeting closer to their neighborhood.
Getting there: The church is less than one block from the 71B (Highland Ave at Station Street) and approximately four blocks from the 71A (Negley at Rural Street); and 71C, 74, 77, 82, 86, 88 and 89 bus routes (Penn Avenue at Sheridan Square)
