Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, Port Authority of Allegheny County, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh have proposed a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system that connects Downtown Pittsburgh with Uptown, Oakland, and several other communities.
Who: Riders of the 61A, 71C, 71D and P3 routes, residents of Homewood, Wilkinsburg and Point Breeze, and riders of the 61 and 71 series routes who cannot attend a meeting closer to their neighborhood.
Getting there from Downtown: Hosanna House is located about 3 blocks from the 61A, 67, 69, 79, and P78 (Ross Ave at Center Street); about 2 blocks from the 71D and 86 (Wallace at Wood street), and about 5 blocks from Wilkinsburg Station on the East Busway (P1/P2/P3).
From the east: Hosanna House is located adjacent to the 67, 69, 79 and P78 bus routes (Wallace at Center) and about 3 blocks from the 61A (South at Center).
