SCDN FORUM: Funding for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Sources

Please join us for a Sustainable Community Development Network (SCDN) Forum on Tuesday, April 3 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Collier Township to learn how to fund renewable energy and energy efficiency projects in your community. This information and networking forum will discuss how to prepare your organization for energy improvements, what factors to consider, how much money and energy you can save, and where funding is or might soon become available.
This Forum will be especially valuable for those entities who consume significant quantities of energy, such as large municipal operators and water and/or sewer authorities.

The morning’s presentations and panel discussions bring together experts from nonprofit organizations, local and state governments, and private industry who are working to improve the planning, implementation, and funding of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects in the Commonwealth.

The Sustainable Community Development Network (SCDN) is designed, with guidance from the SCDN Steering Committee, to support your efforts to create more equitable, environmentally sound, and prosperous communities in Southwestern Pennsylvania. The SCDN is open to officials from municipalities, municipal authorities, and/or community development organizations committed to working on improving their community’s sustainability. The SCDN also provides information and resources to community leaders through its monthly newsletters and webinars.
