Milestone year for Sustainable Pittsburgh brings new leadership
Sustainable Pittsburgh’s 20th anniversary this year marks continuous rising impact for advancing the region’s prosperity. The year also brings new horizons as Sustainable Pittsburgh thanks and bids fond farewell to Executive Director, Court Gould, who joins the Erie Community Foundation in May.
Sustainable Pittsburgh advances its mission of accelerating the policy and practice of sustainable development in part by cultivating regional collaborations around equitable development, tackling climate change, fostering sustainable communities, and mobilizing businesses, municipalities, and organizations to implement sustainable business practices. The organization serves a niche role whereby it works directly with decision makers to identify and take action on opportunities of scale for the region.
The momentum continues with the Sustainable Pittsburgh Board of Directors and team well-positioned to hasten the sustainability uptake and ensure accountability for genuine progress. The Board is preparing to commence a national recruitment process for Sustainable Pittsburgh’s next Executive Director with the aid of a search firm. Please stay tuned to learn more of this opportunity for leadership in regional sustainability.
