Get Out And Vote!

Be sure to get out on November 8 and exercise your right to have a say by heading to the polling booth to cast your votes.  In an election this close and this contentious, our votes matter more than ever, no matter what anyone says.

Not only does the President make decisions about critical social, economic, and environmental issues but so do our local and state officials who have a profound role in sustainable community development.   Your vote for the candidates at the bottom of the ballot is just as important as your vote for President.

Polls are open from 7 am to 8 pm in Pennsylvania.  You can find your polling location at www.votespa.com.  To find out more about the candidates in your area, you can take a look at the sample ballots on Ballotpedia.org.

This election matters, and so does your vote.   We hope you’ll do your civic duty on November 8.

Thanks!

Sustainable Pittsburgh

PS:  Voting twice is a crime, but so is using intimidation to prevent someone from voting. If you see or experience any problems at your polling place, report it to the Election Protection coalition at 866-OUR-VOTE.   Their nonpartisan team of lawyers are available for free to help solve any problems at the polls.
