Learn more about the new Community Plan for Uptown and West Oakland and tour one of the neighborhoods historic film exhanges.
Attend this PUBLIC FORUM to celebrate the work that got us to this point and put the finishing touches on this plan.
The night will kick off with remarks from Mayor Peduto and key partner organizations in Uptown. Then attendees will break up into groups to review the plan, with plenty of time for questions. Representatives from PWSA will be on hand to discuss their Green First Plan for Uptown.
This Community-Driven plan was designed to meaningfully impact:
- Equitable development
- Transit planning/complete streets
- Community health/well being
- Local job opportunities
- Energy consumption
- Stormwater management
- Community identity
