Sustainable Sipping at Frick Environmental Center

7-14-2017 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

$20

This month’s Sustainable Sipping features live music by Buffalo Rose, an insightful presentation by the University of Pittsburgh, and cocktails by Red Star Kombucha.

Featured Speaker:

Dr. Melissa Bilec
Deputy, Director, Mascaro Center for Sustainable Innovation
University of Pittsburgh

The topic for this evening’s Sustainable Sipping is air quality.  Dr. Bilec will  share results of air quality testing in green buildings such as the Frick Environmental Center, and highlight what people should be concerned about and what they can do to improve air quality at home and elsewhere.   Enjoy the presentation, sip on kombucha cocktails, listen to local music, and make your own terrarium at one of the greenest buildings on Earth!

This 21+ event event occurs on the second Friday of each month. Ticket price includes two drink tickets and light refreshments.

Thank you to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy’s generous Sustainable Sipping sponsor: Green Mountain Energy.
