SUMMARY:WEBINAR: Recycling Matters\, And Here is What is Being Done to Keep It That Way
DESCRIPTION:Overview\nWhat is recycling and why does it matter? Recycling\, for many consumers\, is the iconic sustainable behavior. But\, if you’ve read the headlines\, recycling is in trouble. The good news is that big brands and companies are partnering up to fix it. \nThe Recycling Partnership (TRP) works across the country to bring recycling to those that don’t have it and improve it for those that do. This webinar will overview the national recycling landscape – highlighting challenges and opportunities for Americans that don’t have the same level of access to recycling as they do to trash. The webinar will also show the hard work that is happening around the country to clean up contamination in the recycling system and how TRP is working with hundreds of communities to capture more\, better recyclables across the country. \nAs Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) creates a beverage company of the future\, their combined size and scale provides a significant opportunity—and responsibility—to preserve and protect the environment and give back to society in the local and global communities they have offices\, operations\, suppliers\, and consumers. During the webinar\, KDP will share how insights from the recycling landscape have informed their partnerships\, design for recyclability process\, consumer education and product launch planning.
