SUMMARY:Innovative CEOs Enabling and Expanding Decarbonization
DESCRIPTION:Presented by: Sustainable Pittsburgh and CEOs for Sustainability as a part of the Global Clean Energy Action Forum \nThe Global Clean Energy Action Forum is proud to host over 115 side events where Ministers\, government stakeholders\, companies\, organizations\, and other members of the clean energy community will come together to advance the critical work of rapidly accelerating the innovation and deployment of clean energy technology around the world. \nSustainable Pittsburgh and CEOs for Sustainability will take a look at how business innovators are driving rapid decarbonization. A panel of leaders in the CEOs for Sustainability executive network\, hosted by the nonprofit Sustainable Pittsburgh\, will share how their businesses are broadly advancing rapid decarbonization. Panelists include businesses whose leading-edge technologies and services are reducing carbon emissions in the building and transportation sectors\, as well as those pursuing net-zero goals and Science Based Targets in their own operations and supply chains. Featured technologies include whole-building performance modeling and simulation; low-energy mixed-use building development; a 100% biodiesel fuel system for mid- to heavy-duty diesel engines; and on-site solar\, wind\, and EV charging.
