DESCRIPTION:At the end of July\, power grid operator PJM experienced record-high costs to secure the electric grid capacity needed to ensure stable operations. Prices spiked\, yielding a 9-fold cost increase for the 13-state territory\, saddling consumers with a $15 billion bill for 2025-2026.
