DESCRIPTION:Join the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers\, 3 Rivers Wet Weather\, ALCOSAN\, Allegheny County Conservation District\, PA Dept. of Environmental Protection\, PA Emergency Management Agency\, Federal Emergency Management Agency\, Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority\, Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission and Watersheds of South Pittsburgh for a flood education workshop series to answer those questions. You’ll learn about the basics of flooding\, how to prepare and protect yourself and your property\, available resources and contacts\, and other important information to empower yourself and the people you care about before\, during and after a flood. We hope that these workshops can help create better prepared and flood-resilient communities.
