SUMMARY:SCDN Policy Connection: Vitalizing Justice40 Opportunities
DESCRIPTION:Justice40 is a national initiative that calls for at least 40% of the benefits from certain federal investments to be directed to communities overburdened by social\, environmental and economic distress. Seventeen federal agencies have identified over 450 Justice40-covered programs to prioritize communities experiencing flooding\, high energy costs\, high asthma rates\, transportation barriers\, and many other types of burdens.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nJoin Sustainable Pittsburgh and guest speakers to learn more about what the Justice40 Initiative may mean for your municipality and how to access tools available to address a variety of environmental justice needs.
