SUMMARY:Give Big Pittsburgh: COVID-19
DESCRIPTION:Our nonprofits are struggling. It’s time to take action as a community to help those who help us. \nRather than waiting until the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (Giving Tuesday) to launch our fourth annual Give Big Pittsburgh campaign\, Pittsburgh Magazine is jumping in now with the COVID-19 Response Campaign\, an effort to assist in raising critical dollars — in the safest way possible — for nonprofits in Western Pennsylvania during this time of exceptional need. \nThe campaign will kick off at midnight on Tuesday\, May 5 and conclude at midnight on May 31. Nationally\, this initiative is inspired by Giving Tuesday (givingtuesday.org) and its #GivingTuesdayNow\, a global day of giving and unity on May 5\, designed to drive an influx of generosity\, citizen engagement\, business and philanthropy activation\, and support for communities and nonprofits around the world.

SUMMARY:Sustainability Reporting in the COVID Era: Lessons Learned and Vision for a New Future
DESCRIPTION:Join the CEOs of BSR\, GRI\, and SASB to discuss the role of reporting in the context of COVID-19 and hear early lessons on what the pandemic is teaching us about materiality\, disclosure\, stakeholder engagement and systems thinking. \nThe webinar will highlight common values when it comes to reporting and how different views of materiality complement each other. Panelists will also unpack the longer-term implications for sustainability reporting\, given renewed emphasis on ESG issues\, which stands to catalyze more resilient business decision-making through alignment of financial and nonfinancial reporting.
