City council approves ‘3.0’ version of climate action plan

“The Climate Action Plan 3.0 details goals for the city through 2030, including a fossil fuel-free fleet, divestment from fossil fuel companies, zero waste and half the energy and water consumption as well as half the transportation emissions, according to a news release.

“The plan, which is detailed with more figures on the city’s website, came from a draft that more than 300 people representing 90 organizations, businesses and nonprofit organizations contributed toward at more than 100 meetings, the release said.”
