Carnegie Mellon University’s College of Engineering seeks a Director for the Energy Science, Technology, and Policy (ESTP) Master’s Program. Launched in 2009, ESTP is a leading energy-focused masters-level graduate program and offers two interdisciplinary Master’s degrees to students from diverse engineering and science backgrounds. The program is designed to prepare graduates for positions of responsibility in one of the many energy-related job markets, including traditional utility companies and energy suppliers, alternative and renewable energy companies, power generation and distribution equipment companies, energy intensive manufacturing and operating companies, consulting companies, NGOs, non-profits, government, and academic institutions. Some students also go on to earn their Ph.D. in other programs. You will continue this tradition of excellence and apply your own vision for the program’s success. Applicants who are committed to and have a real passion for a culturally diverse environment, and demonstrate a willingness to nurture the inclusive Carnegie Mellon environment are encouraged to apply.
