“The first in the Port Authority’s series of meetings to revisit proposed transit service changes to eastern Pittsburgh neighborhoods and the Monongahela Valley will begin Thursday in Rankin.
“New authority CEO Katharine Eagan Kelleman, who started in January, has told riders she would listen to their concerns about changes slated for those areas when the agency moves ahead with its proposed Bus Rapid Transit system between Oakland and Downtown Pittsburgh. . . .
“Thursday’s meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at the Rankin Christian Center, 230 Third St., and will concentrate on service options for the 61A, 61B and P3 routes that serve North Braddock, Braddock, Rankin, Edgewood, Swissvale, Regent Square and Wilkinsburg. The only other meeting set so far will be May 10 at McKeesport Palisades, McKeesport, but seven others will be scheduled later.”
