“‘One of the largest takes is people commuting differently from day to day,’ said Isaac Smith, data and performance director for the alliance. ‘They may drive two days a week, work from home one day and then take a bike. There’s a level of flexibility that’s growing in the workforce.’ . . .
“Mr. Smith said the results of the survey will be shared with 16 partner agencies, which include the city, Allegheny County, Port Authority, Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Duquesne Light Co. and the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission. Detailed data also will be put on line later this year so the general public can see and use it.”
