Our mission is to secure the future for our restaurants, farmers, and service industry workers with the help of food lovers beyond the COVID-19 crisis.
At Allegheny Eats, we know the best way to survive this crisis is to help each other through to the other side. As an important part of the local food community, food lovers can make a difference! With one delicious purchase, you can thank & support restaurant workers, help sustain local farms and producers, reduce food waste, and keep your favorite restaurants running.
When you buy a meal kit through Allegheny Eats from one of our participating restaurants, you are helping to purchase meals that support local food industry workers who have been impacted by COVID-19.
Plus, each meal kit on Allegheny Eats contains locally sourced produce and products. This helps our farmers and producers know how much to plant for the upcoming growing season and reduces the amount of spoilage during harvest time because that food is accounted for — at Allegheny Eats!
Not only that, but your meal kit purchases and charitable donations provide regular business for our restaurants — helping them to stay open until they can safely resume regular service.
