2017 National Brownfields Conference: Sustainable Communities Start Here

Join ICMA and the US Environmental Protection Agency for the 2017 National Brownfields Conference December 5-7, 2017, with pre-conference programming on December 4th in Pittsburgh, PA. Brownfields 2017 will provide opportunities to examine environmental justice, engage the community, build strategic partnerships, look at technology and innovation, and overcome challenges.

John Paul Farmer, Founder & CEO of The Innovation Project and Director of Technology & Civic Innovation at Microsoft, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s event. City of Pittsburgh Mayor William (Bill) Peduto and Tom Murphy, Senior Resident Fellow at the Urban Land Institute, are slated to join the Mayor’s Roundtable. Dan French, Founder & CEO of, will speak as part of the Plenary session.
