There's still time to donate!

December 10, 2021 by Tyler Sing

On Giving Tuesday 2021, together, we raised over $1,500 — which was matched by our board and former board members for an investment of over $3,000 towards creating a more equitable, resilient, healthy, and prosperous region.

Thanks to our matching fund, all donations since Giving Tuesday have been matched dollar for dollar. The remaining match pool is $1,881. Meaning, there’s still time to double your impact! Invest in our region, our resources and our future — double your gift today!

When asked why they give to Sustainable Pittsburgh, Matt Lasek and Diane Ramos shared:

For nearly two decades, Sustainable Pittsburgh was my trusted resource as I prepared MBA students for management careers at the intersection of social, environmental and financial responsibility. Now retired, I’m honored to serve as treasurer of the board and confident that my own donations are put to good use for advancing thought leadership, convening cross-sector problem-solving, and promoting actions with measurable and meaningful benefits.
—Diane Ramos

I try to live my life in a sustainable way but, if I’m being honest, I don’t always meet that goal. One big reason I support Sustainable Pittsburgh is because it’s a way for me to meet my personal goal of contributing to a more sustainable world and, all the while, their untiring work serves as an example and inspiration.
—Matt Lasek

As Sustainable Pittsburgh adapts and responds to the changing situations in our community, we remain committed to driving positive change to make our region a better place for everyone.
