Join Sustainable Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium for a special breakfast at the award-winning Jambo Grill to celebrate the sustainability successes of Service Systems Associates (SSA)! Jambo Grill earned Gold Plate designation as a Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant in 2017.
SSA manages the daily operations of the Zoo’s food and retail concessions, including those related to special events. During the breakfast, hear how SSA is using a sustainability-first approach and encouraging their employees to do the same. At the end of the program, Margie Marks, Curator of Conservation Education, will lead a behind the scenes visit with some of the animals.
