Calling all businesses, organizations, and municipalities located in rural southwestern Pennsylvania! Seize the opportunity to secure up to $3,000 in grant funding for energy upgrades that can help reduce operating costs while earning recognition for your work to support environmentally friendly practices and build a vibrant community. This grant opportunity supports energy and cost saving upgrades for new participants that earn designation/certification within one of the following recognition programs: Sustainable Pittsburgh Restaurant; Sustainable Pittsburgh Shop; Sustainable Pittsburgh Workplace; or Sustainable Pennsylvania. Rural communities include those located in Armstrong, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Indiana, Lawrence, or Washington Counties. Eligible rural communities located in Allegheny, Beaver, and Westmoreland Counties can be found here.
Examples of eligible upgrades include, but are not limited to: Commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC upgrades, energy-efficient lighting, solar installations, and EV charging stations. Elevate your sustainability efforts by investing in energy-saving projects that not only save you money, but also pave the way for a more sustainable future.
Act Fast! Funding is limited! Applications are open to all NEW program participants located within southwestern PA rural communities and are accepted on a rolling basis until November 20, 2023.
