Integrated Water Resource Planning (IWRP) has become a popular means of addressing interdependent environmental and regulatory needs in a coordinated, cost-effective way.  An overview of Integrated Planning (history and processes), relevant but often competing motivations such as flooding, pollution reduction plans, surface water quality, droughts, etc., and examples will be discussed on prospective benefits of regional integrated planning.
