Instructions for data calculation
A carbon offset is a unit of carbon dioxide-equivalent (CO2e) that is reduced, avoided, or sequestered to compensate for emissions occurring elsewhere. They are separate from Renewable Energy Credits which are not included in this question.
Please calculate as follows for the current year of emissions data that you reported above: (Total certified carbon credits purchased in tonnes/Total emissions for all scopes measured in tonnes) * 100.
