Virtual event hosted by Sustainable Pittsburgh
Event Overview:
For the first time, local governments are eligible to receive direct payments in lieu of tax credits for clean energy projects. Now add in bonus tax credits for energy communities, environmental justice communities and low-income housing projects as well as new federal clean energy grant programs, and local governments have more opportunities to save costs and participate in the clean energy economy. Join Sustainable Pittsburgh and our partners to learn more about resources available for local governments to increase clean energy investments in your community.
Featured presentations will be given by the PA Solar Center and their G.E.T. Solar Communities program, which offers technical assistance and financial guidance for local governments that want to learn more about going solar. The Great Plains Institute will present on SolSmart, a designation program that offers technical assistance for solar planning, community engagement and market development.
