Take a stand against injustice

Nearly one year ago, we published a statement condemning the increased violence, hate speech, and overt racism faced by the Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) community due to COVID-19.  According to a recent study surveying the past year, Asian Americans reported over 3,800 hate-related incidents, which experts believe may be just a fraction of the total number of hate crimes committed. 

Sustainable Pittsburgh continues to stand with the AAPI community in solidarity–racism and hate crimes cannot be tolerated, but must be called out.
