Ashley Clawson

DMI Companies, Inc.

Ashley Clawson is a management professional with over 15 years of experience in account and supply chain management, bid preparation, internal and corporate communications, vendor relations, data analysis, and sales. Armed with a Bachelor of Science and Master’s degree in Business Administration, Ashley went on to work for many recognizable companies such as the United States Steel Corporation and The Kraft Heinz Foods Company. Currently, in her role as Procurement Manager at DMI Companies, Inc., Ashley manages company-wide spending, inventory levels, and sustainability initiatives.

Dana Kunzman

CAEL (Council for Adult and Experiential Learning)

Dana Levine Kunzman comes to CAEL with extensive experience in the higher education, philanthropic, and government sectors fostering connections and coordinating cross-system initiatives that test innovative approaches to improving outcomes.

Prior to joining CAEL, Dana served as the senior director of cross-systems consulting at the Forum for Youth Investment. She was a key strategic thought partner in the development of the Building Ecosystems Statewide for Thriving Youth Initiative that supported states in designing integrated solutions to advance equitable youth opportunities and outcomes across youth-serving systems — including education and workforce development.

As the Interim CEO and vice president of strategic innovation at Pennsylvania’s State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) Foundation, Dana partnered with chancellor and system universities to accelerate student success and workforce development initiatives. She helped build industry-education-workforce collaboratives across sectors that fostered strong connections and career pathways in Pennsylvania’s workforce ecosystem.

Dana has also worked at the county level, serving as a consultant to the Montgomery County (MD) recreation department and the Montgomery County Collaboration Council for Children, Youth, and Families, managing department strategic planning, building a youth workforce pipeline and professional development system, and conducting program evaluation across departmental initiatives. While at the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Dana provided policy leadership, launched and managed multidisciplinary projects, and was the education liaison to the Pennsylvania Department of Education, coordinating efforts to support school stability for children.

Throughout her career, Dana has contributed to shaping strategies focusing on the integration of systems, incorporating research-based practices, measuring impact, and increasing organizational effectiveness.

Dana holds a B.A. from Goucher College and a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University.

Flore Marion

City of Pittsburgh Department of City Planning

Flore Marion serves as the Assistant Director of Sustainability and Resilience within the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of City Planning.

Flore has led transformative energy and climate initiatives, including the City’s first Net-Zero Ready ordinance for municipal buildings—paving the way for a 50% energy reduction and delivering results with multiple buildings reopening in 2025. 

Her leadership also secured a major wind energy purchase, advancing the City’s commitment to reach 100% renewable electricity by 2030 and was instrumental in developing a dark sky ordinance to support Pittsburgh’s multi-million-dollar LED streetlight retrofit, improving safety for both people and wildlife.

In parallel, she’s working to elevate Pittsburgh’s natural assets—leveraging them into the city’s strategies for recreation, stormwater management, and climate hazard resilience.

Holly Merriman

Pittsburgh Gateways

With a background in Human Resources in the financial services, nonprofit and energy sectors, Holly Merriman serves as the Program Manager, Workforce Initiatives for Pittsburgh Gateways. In that role, Merriman partners with employers to forge partnerships between corporations, schools, vocational schools, apprenticeships and community agencies in Allegheny County to meet the increasing demand for skilled workers, with a focus on creating a pipeline of individuals to meet the needs of our region.

Holly served as Councilwoman and Finance Chair for Glen Osborne Borough for eleven years and is a board member of The Pittsburgh Fellows.

Raised in New England, Holly holds a bachelor’s in economics from Allegheny College and has called Pittsburgh home since her college graduation.

Brittany Prischak

Allegheny County Department of Sustainability

Brittany, as the first Director of the Department of Sustainability for Allegheny County, is leading integration of sustainable best practices throughout county operations including transitioning the county fleet to alternative fuels, implementing energy and water efficiency renovations, installation renewable energy on county facilities, increasing sustainable purchasing and the use of sustainable materials, and increasing waste diversion. As the county’s sustainability efforts shifted from internal facing to incorporating external community efforts in 2023, she is now leading the first ever Climate Action Plan development and looking forward to continued community partnership throughout implementation.

Elizabeth (Liz) Vitullo

West Virginia University

Liz Vitullo serves as Assistant Vice President of Economic Innovation for the Office of the Provost at West Virginia University, where she advances WVU’s role in growing and diversifying West Virginia’s economy through strategic partnerships and emerging initiatives. She is the Co-Founder of the West Virginia Grant Resource Centers, which helps communities and eligible applicants develop competitive grant applications statewide, and serves as Chief Workforce Officer for the Resilient Energy Technology and Infrastructure (RETI) Consortium. Vitullo coordinates the Chambers Elite Climbers Program, a student-athlete development initiative focused on entrepreneurship, financial literacy, branding, and technology. She has also supported workforce efforts across the broadband, energy, and remote work sectors and is an active member of multiple boards and advisory committees throughout the state. She has been recognized as a WV Wonder Woman and as a WV Sharp Shooter, and she is a graduate of Leadership WV and the ARC’s Appalachian Leadership Institute. She lives in Morgantown with her husband, two daughters, and son.
