The City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, and the Carnegie Library are teaming up to promote awareness for the 2020 Census on April 1st.
The Census determines how much federal funding we receive to support schools, hospitals, infrastructure, and community-based services throughout Allegheny County. It is estimated that our community loses almost $2,000 per person who goes uncounted. That is almost $20,000 per person over 10 years that is lost in the region. Our goal is to make sure 100% of our residents are counted.
Join us for an evening at the Carnegie Library and help our region achieve a complete count! Will provide refreshments (and cookies), and the event is free for everyone.
