Improving water quality, managing storm-water, and adapting to a changing climate are some of the most difficult challenges faced by municipal leaders in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Effectively-led watershed groups are an excellent community resource for municipalities seeking to mitigate those issues and comply with their MS4 requirements. Watershed groups come in many different sizes and structures, from all volunteer-led organizations to professionally run 501(c)3 nonprofits. While their capacities may differ, working together with municipal leaders, all watershed groups can have positive community impacts.
Please join us for a Webinar on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm to learn how the Allegheny Watershed Alliance, a program of the Allegheny County Conservation District, works with local watershed groups and municipal leadership to improve collaborative outcomes.
